Paterson Woodworking has been operating in Upper Amherst Cove, NL since 1992.

Now operating as a one person shop,  I continue to make wooden furniture for private homes and commercial spaces,  influenced largely by traditional design and techniques.

Larger commissions I have undertaken include custom  furniture for Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador,  Shorefast Foundation  and the Fogo Island Inn on Fogo Island and  Fishers’ Loft Inn in Port Rexton, NL.  I have also built period  windows, doors and architectural millwork for St. Pierre et Miquelon, and most areas of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Reproduction and restoration of technically challenging historic architectural components as well as interesting  furniture commissions are my primary focus now.

I am also available to perform  consulting work in my areas of expertise.
